October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month & the Somerset Breakthrough group are hoping that the Women & Men of Somerset will support our £1 campaign to raise a £1 for every Woman in Somerset.
 

We want Somerset Women & Men to THINK PINK this month & have fun wearing Pink in the Office for a day, have a coffee morning, have a raffle, organise a Disco or a Breakfast party, Aerobathon, Quiz, Skittles evening hold a Race night. Ladies lunch, give up Chocolate, Smoking, talking  to the television.... there are lots of different ways 

              

 HELP US TO HELP YOU

 

For each £1 raised 50 pence will go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer who established the UK's first dedicated breast cancer research centre in partnership with the Institute of Cancer Research. Breakthrough is a charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research & awareness.
The remaining 50 pence will be shared between Taunton Yeovil Bath & Weston super Mare Breast Cancer Clinics. Our aim is to raise £220,000 but we need your help to do this.
 

Over 40,000 Women are diagnosed every year with Breast Cancer

Over 200 Men are diagnosed with Breast Cancer
Over 1,000 Women die each Month from Breast Cancer
Over 90 Men die a year from Breast Cancer
Over 1,000 Women in Somerset are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
